LA MINGA
On the isle of Chiloé in the south of Chile, people have a tradition called “La Minga”. During a “Minga” the whole village will help one of its inhabitants with a difficult task, for instance moving a complete house from one place to another using Ox. The “Minga” might take a whole day, but always ends up with a big banquet, were the host serves traditional food and drinks to everybody who helped Surrounded by four great natural barriers: The Atacama Desert to the north, The Patagonia ice fields to the south, The Andes mountains to the east and The Pacific Ocean to the west, which provide the perfect conditions to produce world class wines
